ArtLab Collaboration with Andy Abbot
For the upcoming “ArtLab” exhibition at Dean Clough Gallery in Halifax, I am collaborating with Andy Abbott on a project exploring sound and imagined landscapes.
ArtLab is a platform and webinar series for artists sharing practices and ideas, initiated by Alice Bradshaw at Dean Clough. Participating pairs of artists were randomly assigned.
As part of our working process we are going on local walks, each in our respective neighbourhoods, and making audio recordings at spots designated by a drawn line of each other’s walk transposed onto our own location.
