Projects

My artwork explores notions of the imagined and re-imagined landscape, abstraction as a form of storytelling, and mark-making as a tool to tune-in to sensory, emotional and embodied experiences. I’m interested in the process of transforming something into something else, and seeing how things morph beyond their original source. I transform sensation into drawings, sounds into other sounds, journeys into lines, and stories into maps. Whilst painting is more of a solitary practice for me, my projects are mostly created together with others either through direct collaboration, or via participatory performances or workshops.
